with a lower price tag. They currently offer families three different plans to choose from, all with promising benefits.

What Do Consumers Think of the T-Mobile Family Plan?
After looking at different options that they have as far as T-Mobile family plans go, they seem to stack up pretty well against the companions.
That being said, what do the consumers have to say about T-Mobile and their family plans? After scouring the internet and reading hundreds of different reviews, we’ve compiled a short
list of pros and cons straight from the consumer's mouth.
Pros
When it comes down to the actual plans and their pricing, T-Mobile
does receive some high praise amongst consumers. They state that the plans are what T-Mobile presents and that they are fairly priced, especially when compared to competitors such as AT&T.
Their 4G speeds are also a high-ranking factor. However, that is for those in metropolitan
areas. While they have great coverage in certain areas, other areas do still lack, such as many rural areas. When users are in an area with good T-Mobile reliability, users quite enjoyed
all the extra features provided through the ONE and ONE PLUS plans.
Finally, the in-store teams received quite a few praises across the country. T-Mobile in-store teams ranked high amongst mobile phone stores when it came down to the team members
knowing the products and the plans.
- Straightforward plans & pricing
- Great ratings for 4G speeds
- In-store customer service
Cons
As mentioned earlier, while metropolitan areas do get great coverage and reliability, the same can not be said for those in more rural areas. When compared to the big three
mobile phone competitors, T-Mobile doesn’t have the coverage or reliability
that Verizon, Sprint or AT&T have.
Also, while in-store team members received high praise amongst consumers, the same cannot be said of the tech support and over-the-phone customer service. Many consumers complained about the long wait times when speaking to customer service while others stated that they waited on hold for hours at a time before the line simply went dead. Moreover, when they could talk to someone, there were often conflicts between what they were told in-store and what the technicians told them over the phone.
- Coverage issues
- Customer service issues/over the phone
Our Final Verdict on The T-Mobile Family Plan
When it comes down to it, current plans available plans under the T-Mobile Family plan list are great deals for those that are covered under the available service areas.
While the T-Mobile family plans offer quite a bit to consumers and at a pretty reasonable price, those that live in smaller towns or areas just outside the service map won’t be able to enjoy them nearly as much, if at all, when compared to those in more metropolitan areas.
While we agree that T-Mobile offers a great plan for those interested, we believe that those living away from the big cities should look at other service providers for more reliability for their money.
