Ameritrade clients can use the Ameritrade login platform to access their online accounts with the stock trading company. Open a New Account with Ameritrade

These are the first fields you have to complete to open an Ameritrade account.
- Read the introduction on the page and start filling out the required fields.
- Check whether you already have an account with Ameritrade or not.
- Select your desired Prefix from the drop down menu, optionally.
- Enter your First name, Middle name (optionally) and Last name.
This is the next series of fields that require completion for your application.
- Choose your Suffix as another option.
- Type the Email address you want to be associated with your Ameritrade account.
- Re-enter email address for confirmation.
- Provide the Best daytime phone number for you in the two designated fields. Add an if applicable, and check the I have a non-U.S. phone number if this is your case.
- Pick your Citizenship status.
This is how you can choose the type of account you want with Ameritrade.
- Select the type of account you want. Explore the tabs on top or choose from the Most Common options.
These are the last fields you have to fill out before proceeding to the next application steps.
- Identify the main purpose for using AmeriTrade.
- Select Yes or No in regards to being new to investing, as an option.
- Provide your Offer code if you have one.
- Read the TD Ameritrade Privacy Statement and check the box next to the green arrow.
- Click Continue and follow the remaining application steps.
Carry Out Ameritrade Login
After you get your brokerage account set up, you can now access the Ameritrade login page. Here, you need to have your user ID and password ready.
